I love decorating for fall. The reason might be that it is so cost effective to go outside and gather materials that can be used to bring in the brilliant colors and smells of the season into the home. On the other hand, it could be that I love the relaxing atmosphere that fall decorating creates. As fall turns to winter, I often put off changing my decorating theme because I find the subtle but rich hues of fall far more attractive to that of the bolder holiday season. If you are anything like me, you should know that you could keep your fall decor all year long.

While items brought in from the outside to spruce up your home for fall will certainly fade, paint and purchased home decor in the colors and theme of the season will not. There is no reason why you cannot paint your home in the rich hues of yellow, orange, red and brown of falling leaves.
